For me, the consistency is excellent..it's not just water...but also not gel...something in between..it spreads well on the face and leaves a sticky texture on the face, but I definitely don't mind it..the skin looks tight, when you put on cream then it absorbs and the stickiness disappears...awesome product, the Ksisters are a very fast seller and give free samples, very pleased
